Did you know that birds use wetland and riparian areas for breeding, feeding, resting, shelter, and social interactions? Join us for the fourth annual Wildlife Speaker Series to find out more about wetland and riparian birds at the Silver Springs Ranch in Sheridan, MT. Jack Kirkley of UM Western will be presenting. We will begin the morning with coffee, breakfast burritos, and a short presentation at 8:00 before heading out into the field to spot some birds. We recommend you wear long pants and sturdy shoes, as we will be walking through some prickly grasses. You may also want to bring binoculars, sunscreen, and bug spray.
To get to the venue, follow Highway 287 and turn onto Middle Rd. (it will be a right if you're coming from Sheridan, and left if you're coming from Ennis). After that, just follow the signs!
