Wildlife Speaker Series - Trout

Join us for the fifth event of our annual Summer Speaker Series, where we will learn about trout! We will kick off the evening at 5:30 PM with a community potluck dinner at the Ruby Habitat Foundation's Woodson Ranch, so bring your favorite dish to share. Our featured event will begin at 7:00 PM with a presentation from Matt Jaeger of Montana Fish, WIldlife, & Parks, and three local ranchers including John Anderson, Neil Barnosky, and Dan Doorbos.

Driving Directions:
From the north- Head south on Highway 287 for approximately 8 miles south of Sheridan to the town of Laurin. Turn west into the town of Laurin and navigate to Ruby River Dr., driving over the 3-ton weight-limit bridge onto Ruby River Dr. Head north on Ruby River Dr. for 2 miles and turn east to the Woodson Ranch Visitor Center. Parking will be in the field on the right.

From the south- Head north on Highway 287 for approximately 11 miles north of Virginia City to the town of Laurin. Turn west into the town of Laurin and navigate to Ruby River Dr., driving over the 3-ton weight-limit bridge onto Ruby River Dr. Head north on Ruby River Dr. for 2 miles and turn east to the Woodson Ranch Visitor Center. Parking will be in the field on the right.
