Lauren E. Oakes is a conservation scientist at the Wildlife Conservation Society and an adjunct professor in Earth System Science at Stanford University. Join us Thursday, February 28th at the Ennis Public Library as she discusses her new book, "In Search of The Canary Tree: The Story of a Scientist, a Cypress, and a Changing World.", named by NPR 's Science Friday as one of the 10 best in 2018!

Q&A, conversation, discussion of regional and local climate science issues, books, and hors d'oeuvres will all be on the agenda! In collaboration with Madison Conservation District, WCS Community Partnerships, Madison Valley Public Library and The Madisonian.
